Someone Like Me featured real-life events told by actual survivors who are graduates of the ESTN program. Someone Like Me also highlighted updates from program leaders about initiatives in this vital work and provide education to dissolve common myths around human trafficking. The second season will continue this format and will put a focus on prevention and expert witness on the systems surrounding the facilitation and eradication of the crime of human sex trafficking.

The first episode, which will be released on March 26, 2021, will establish an understanding of “Trauma-Informed Care” and how this approach influences the work of End Slavery Tennessee to facilitate recovery for survivors. The season continues with an interview featuring Cyntoia Brown Long, whose clemency in 2019 attracted nationwide attention, an episode with a survivor named Trish, a conversation about the legal implications for trafficking survivors with Judge Ana Escobar and Assistant District Attorney Sarah Wolfson, and interviews with members of law enforcement about raids and realities of trafficking in Tennessee.
